Thanks to this new technology, parents will now have a new way of keeping track of their children's whereabouts. Through the Family Locator program by Sprint, parents will be able to locate a kid through his phone's GPS within several meters. Therefore, it would lessen the burden of worries that parents have whenever their kids do not turn up for dinner.
But kids and mostly teenagers like my young sister will definitely not love this. I can sense that parents will have a hard time tabbing children's phones with the new
wireless technology. You know, kids today are like a humongous pile of worthless termites. The more you show concern to them, the more they'll get mad at you. Anyway, I can feel that kids would feel that placing a hunting device on their mobile phones is like saying that parents distrust them more than normal.
But on a mother's point of view, I know she just wants to make sure that her precious, big
bundle of joy is safe. I believe that parents should discuss this thing with their children in a heart-to-heart talk. This is such a simple serious matter that needs understanding and respect from both parties. The new technology has its benefits and hazards that may improve or injure a parent-child relationship.
