I'm getting confused with the latest technologies that surround the wireless waters today. I think I should blame the device makers of
personal digital assistants, Pocket PCs, and smartphones for this headache. I hate them for creating so many trashy stuff and for inducing perplexity with their new terminologies.
Among the new buzzwords that encircle the computer industry today is 3G. This 3G thing enables a user to see whom he/she is talking to whether the person on the other line is in the same country or not. HTC is another device maker that will wow consumers with 3G-powered mobile phones and PDAs. With partners in Europe, the new company aims to be the leading provider of wireless communication devices in the market. Two of its new models will be launch perhaps at the end of this month.
Unfortunately, the carriers will not be Verizon or Cingular, but they'll be Orange and TMobile. The mobile company promise to packaged wireless capability and superb performance in the pocket-sized gadgets. Personally, I think HTC wouldn't stand a good chance in the wireless war. With Nokia, Motorola, and
Sony Ericsson in the market, I don't think consumers will give a damn about HTC phones.
