I've read something scary today. The
United Airlines company is developing a Wireless Fidelity communication service. "This WiFi service," the article said "will promise to provide every passenger an opportunity to use the Internet during the flight." I don't need this because I'd rather sleep during the flight than stare at the computer monitor and puke all over the plane's carpet.
I'm the type of person who prefers to travel by land than by the air. By the way, traveling by sea is out of the question. I'm not acrophobic, but I really hate the twisted feeling in my tummy every time I travel by plane. The last time I traveled was when my family had a vacation in Tanzania. Crossing several continents by plane is not a good idea for me. I messed everything in the flight with my vomit. Everyone was so disgusted and exasperated, needless to say that the flight attendant planned to throw me out of the window.
The wireless Internet connection service project is still in the process of searching for a carrier that will help offer the inside-flight WiFi. The said airline already placed some wireless hardware in its aircraft to allow usage of
personal digital assistants and phones. Thankfully, the airline will not allow passengers to place Voice calls over the Internet.
